High performance with all folding options
SPE compact ironers are designed to maximise efficiency and productivity in laundry processing, while saving energy and space. The range is available in 600, 800 or 1000 mm cylinder diameters, and is specially designed to deliver high productivity while saving space: equipped with a folder and a counter-folder, with the option of adding a side stacker, it can be adapted to all high-productivity requirements. They are available in two usable lengths: 2.60 m and 3.30 m, and 3 types of heating: electric, gas or steam.
SPE ironers can produce 2 longitudinal folds on 1 or 2 lanes and up to 3 cross folds with stacking (optional). Folding is pneumatically controlled by photocells.
Main features of the SPE range
- Dries and irons in a single operation directly from a high spin washer
- White painted steel panels.
- 1 or 2 working lanes: 1 lane for bedsheets and 2 lanes for table cloth and small items.
- Longitudinal folding (1 or 2 folds) and cross folding (up to 3 folds)
- Folding by photocell and compressed air
- Polished roll ø 600, 800 or 1000 mm
- Frequency inverter
- Feeding and ironing by Nomex belts
- Digital control: creation of programmes with speed (between 3 and 18 m/min), temperature and folding parameters
- Electric, steam or gas heating (atmospheric burners or radiant burner)
- High production capacity of up to 290 kg/h, depending on the residual moisture content of the linen (radiant gas model: the most flexible and productive)
- Powerful extraction system
Options for the SPE range
- Side stacker for up to 10 to 15 tablecloths and 10 bedsheets
- Compact stacker (1 lane roll-off) for up to 5 tablecloths and 10 bedsheets
- Vacuum belts to help feeding
- 1 lane automatic clamp feeder (vacuum feeding belts not included)
- By-pass
- 2-lanes rear collector + by-pass
- 4-lanes rear collector + by-pass
- Double air pressure on folds for thick linen
- Linen reject system (soiled or torn)
- Rear exit table + by-pass
